The Toronto Blue Jays are looking at a must-win situation in Sunday's Game 6 of the ALCS against the Mariners, and all eyes will be on manager John Schneider's lineup card as the series returns to Rogers Centre.

Blue Jays outfielder George Springer left Friday's Game 5 in the seventh inning after he took a 96 mph pitch from Bryan Woo right off the kneecap. Springer attempted to walk off the pain, but as he hobbled to first base, it was clear that his night was done.

With the series returning to Toronto, the extra rest is seemingly working in Springer's favor. All tests came back negative, and it's looking likely that Springer will be in the lineup on Sunday night.

Schneider said via MLB.com:

As long as Springer can walk to the plate and get down the line, he’ll be fighting to be in the lineup.

“Just tell me he's good to go, and he's good to go,” Schneider said. “George has played through a lot, probably more than you guys know this year, but over the course of his career, too. So just make sure that it's not bothering him swinging and not bothering him running. But he's a tough dude, so I'm hopeful and optimistic that he'll be good to go.”

UPDATE: Springer is in the Blue Jays' Game 6 lineup. He'll be leading off as the DH.
