Attorneys for a woman who won a nearly $125,000 default judgment in a defamation suit against rapper Blueface are asking a judge to assign royalties from two companies in order to carry out the order, which the singer has allegedly ignored.

In her Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit brought in December 2023, Jackilyn Martinez said the rapper maligned her reputation with a series of internet postings suggesting that Soulja Boy’s 2-year-old child could be his. Martinez is the mother of the boy.

On Thursday, Martinez’s attorneys filed court papers with Judge Peter Hernandez asking him to order that royalties that BMI and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers have collected on Blueface’s behalf be assigned to Martinez to the amount necessary to fulfill her award.
