Michigan State’s losing streak reached four games after the Spartans were roughed up on the road in a 38-13 defeat to No. 3 Indiana .

Despite back-to-back weeks of losing by the same score, MSU did put together an improved effort going up against one of college football few remaining undefeated teams.

While the Spartans’ defense struggled against quarterback Fernando Mendoza to the tune of 332 passing yards and four touchdowns, the MSU offense had a more productive outing with 367 total yards of offense led by QB Aidan Chiles completing 82% of his throws for 243 yards.

Michigan State earned its highest overall Pro Football Focus grade (66.1) and highest offensive grade (67.5) since their last victory in Week 3 against Youngstown State.
