No injuries were reported from an Oct. 18 fire at a two-story apartment complex on the 1100 block of Patapsco Place.

Akron firefighters were called to the complex at around 2:30 p.m., where responding crews found significant fire coming out of the second story windows on the rear of the building. Firefighters searched the apartment for its occupant, who had been reported to be inside, but the he had already left and was later found outside. He refused medical treatment.

No one was found inside of either of the apartments next to the apartment on fire. Those two apartments sustained smoke damage. Red Cross was contacted to assist the displaced occupants from adjacent apartments.
