MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WIS/ WMBF ) - A woman was arrested after reportedly brandishing a gun during a “No Kings” rally in South Carolina.

WMBF reports police arrested 59-year-old Mary Moriarty on Saturday during the protest in Myrtle Beach.

Moriarty, from nearby Surfside Beach, allegedly drove by the demonstration when she brandished the firearm. She’s charged with pointing and presenting a firearm.

Records show Moriarty was booked into the Myrtle Beach Jail after her arrest. She was granted a $100,000 surety bond following a hearing Sunday morning.
