CHICAGO (WGN) — R&B legend Brandy has responded on social media after she abruptly walked off the United Center stage Saturday night during a "The Boy is Mine Tour" show, leaving Monica to close the show by herself.

In a Facebook post Sunday addressed "to my Dear Fans in Chicago," Brandy apologized and explained that she experienced dehydration and felt like she was going to faint during Saturday's show in Chicago.

According to TMZ, Brandy stopped mid-song then said, "Give me one second, y'all, I gotta get my ...," before walking backstage.

TMZ reports Brandy didn't return following several minutes, after which Monica finished the show, concluding with the duo's 1998 hit, "The Boy is Mine."
