CHICAGO (WGN) — Yoga is usually about mindfulness, steady breathing and staying focused, but those rules go out the window when puppies are involved.
“I pretended to do yoga while playing with puppies,” attendee Rob Roth said.
“I was so distracted and the whole entire time, the yoga instructor kept on being like, ‘We’re doing this,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, I forgot there was a class right now,’” attendee Patrick McGovern said.
On the 94th floor of the building formerly known as the Hancock, six puppies roamed freely while 35 people attempted to follow along during Puppy Yoga.
“They were shy. I think they were shy. It’s a new environment for them with so, so many people. So, we just needed to ground ourselves,” yoga instructor Carmen Anta said.
