LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The weekend started out on an active note, with severe weather across much of the state. So far, one tornado has been confirmed from Saturday evening's storms.

Those storms came ahead of a cold front, and behind that front, we've had a nice stretch of cooler, sunnier conditions.

As we start this new week, the clear skies and calm wind will allow us to see some of this season's coolest temperatures.

We will rebound to slightly above-average temperatures in the afternoon, but another (dry) cold front will move through on Tuesday.

This will help reinforce "near average" temperatures through the end of the work week.
