LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — At Mount Holly Cemetery in Little Rock, every stone has a story. Once a year, those stories come to life at the annual tales of the crypt .
Every October, students from the Drama Department of Parkview Arts & Science Magnet High School dress as some of the most notable people of Arkansas, delivering short dialogues to highlight the history and lives of their character.
"Tales of the crypt is a project that started 30 years ago with one of our English teachers and one of our acting teachers, Susan Taylor, Barnum and Fred booze, began this project where they brought students out to the cemetery, and then it developed into where they began to research the people buried here," Tamara Zinck, theater specialist at Parkview arts and magnet science Magnet High School, said
