(FOX40.COM) — The statewide, five-day Kaiser Permanente health care workers strike came to an end on Sunday, as the United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals said they sent a "resounding message that patient care and safe staffing must come first."
The strike began on Tuesday and impacted more than 500 Kaiser hospitals across California and Hawaii.
