The BASIS Flagstaff girls volleyball team opened the 2025 season with its longest winning streak in the program’s 10 years of existence. Its seven straight wins to start the year were already a team record for victories in a full season.

The Yetis' magical start, however, has since been mired by a stretch of consecutive losses. BASIS Flagstaff suffered its sixth straight defeat on Saturday at home against the El Capitan Eagles out of Colorado City in four sets, 17-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.
