Manchester United legend and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville believes his former side can finish in the top six this season. The Reds earned a 2-1 win at Liverpool on Sunday to record their first victory at Anfield since January 2016.

It was also the first time United had recorded back-to-back victories in the Premier League since head coach Ruben Amorim arrived at Old Trafford in November 2024.

Sunday's three points on Merseyside have moved Amorim's side up to ninth in the top-flight table - two points off fourth-placed Liverpool. There will now be hope at Old Trafford that their victory over reigning English champions Liverpool can kick-start what has been a difficult tenure so far under Amorim.
