LONDON -- Tottenham manager Thomas Frank said the issue Cristian Romero suffered in the warmup ahead of the clash against Aston Villa is a "minor doctor issue [and] nothing big."

The Tottenham captain was replaced by Kevin Danso in the lineup moments before kickoff for his start in the Premier League this season.

Romero has completed 90 minutes in each of Spurs' seven games this season. He started Argentina 's friendly against Venezuela in the recent international break but remained on the bench for the game against Puerto Rico.

Frank said he isn't sure if he will be involved in the midweek Champions League game against Monaco.
