It will be the Algonquin Barons and West Ferris Trojans meeting against the Nipissing District Athletics (NDA) senior football final.

The Trojans routed the Saint Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears in the semifinal 49-12 Saturday night at Mike O’Shea Field.

To be fair to the Bears they were playing their 3rd game in eight days and fatigue had to be a factor.

The Trojans jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead with West Ferris Quarterback Nicolas Corbeil scoring twice and adding converts on both touchdowns.

Brady Kingston scored for the Bears in the second quarter but West Ferris scored five more touchdowns to lead 49-6 at the half.

Corbeil ended with four touchdowns, while other scores went to Wes Buell, Evan Patterson and Jackson Hines.

Kingston rounded out the scoring with a score for SJSH
