DAVENPORT, Wash. — A three-vehicle collision that shut down Highway 2 east of Davenport on Sunday afternoon left multiple people injured, including a 43-year-old woman who was initially airlifted but later determined to have sustained only minor injuries.
The Washington State Patrol reported the crash occurred at 4:04 p.m. near milepost 257, approximately six miles east of Davenport, completely blocking the roadway.
According to WSP, an eastbound vehicle carrying one adult female and three children was stopped and waiting to turn when a second vehicle rear-ended it, pushing the car into oncoming traffic. A third vehicle traveling westbound then struck the family's car.
All occupants of the turning vehicle, including the woman and three children, suffered minor injuries, troopers said.
