: The Border Security Force (BSF) in Tripura apprehended 21 illegal migrants, including 11 Bangladeshi nationals and 10 Rohingyas, during coordinated operations on Sunday.
According to BSF officials, the 11 Bangladeshi nationals were detained at Agartala Railway Station while attempting to travel to other parts of India without valid documents.
“During interrogation, they admitted to entering India illegally through the Indo–Bangladesh border in Tripura,” a BSF official said.
In a separate operation in North Tripura district, BSF troops detained 10 Rohingya migrants, including women and children.
“The group had travelled from Delhi and Jammu and was planning to return to Moulvibazar in Bangladesh with the help of touts,” the official added.
