Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has outlined her political priorities ahead of the Liberal Party resettling its positions on key policies after the federal election.
Ms Ley revealed in an address to the Centre for Independent Studies on Monday she will focus on reducing taxes, cutting red tape and revitalising the private sector.
The Opposition Leader focussed on the Liberal Party’s traditional economic values, steering clear of the key issues dividing the party - including net zero and immigration .
Ms Ley signalled a return to the party’s traditional economic values of aspiration, enterprise and smaller government.
Income tax cuts
Ms Ley has promised that a government under her leadership would commit to personal income tax cuts, targeting relief for low- and middle-income earners.
