WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Speed, safety and sleepless nights are a growing concern for some in Wichita.
KSN talked with a state representative and the Wichita Police Department, who are looking at harsher penalties to crack down on dangerous drivers.
Wichita police say most racing activity happens on roads at the edge of the city. But from roaring engines to speeding cars, many people say driving on Kellogg is getting dangerous. Now, some are calling for action before it's too late.
"It gets to the point where it just irritates you," Evon Russell, a Wichita resident, said.
