OMAHA, Neb. —
Democrat Denise Powell has outraised all other candidates in the race for Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District, while Brinker Harding has outraised his Republican opponent.
That's according to the campaign finance disclosure filings, complete as of the end of September, that were made available last week through the Federal Elections Commission.
Republican Don Bacon is not seeking re-election, leaving the competitive seat open for the taking.
Both Harding and Republican Brett Lindstrom claim the amount they raised is more than any other candidate has raised in their first quarter running for Nebraska's 2nd District. Lindstrom's figure includes a joint fundraising committee and a PAC.
