Coventry City continued their impressive unbeaten start to the Championship season at the weekend with a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers and now face a quick turn-around as they head south to Portsmouth on Tuesday night.

Sky Blues boss Frank Lampard knows full well after last year's visit to Fratton Park where they were thumped 4-1 that Pompey pose a huge threat to the team's hitherto unblemished start to the league campaign. The head coach, however, views that difficult afternoon on the south coast last December - which was only his fifth game in charge - as a turning point for him and his players who went on a remarkable run all the way to the play-offs after that.
