A Glasgow local says he is "appalled" after spotting a dead and living pigeon "trapped" in netting underneath a west end railway bridge.

A grim picture shared with Glasgow Live shows the wing of a deceased pigeon sticking through the netting, with another one struggling to try and escape underneath the bridge on Dumbarton Road, next to Partick Station.

Despite the bridge serving rail services, the council is in charge of pigeon-proofing on the bridge. Both the council and the Scottish SPCA were contacted by the resident.

He told Glasgow Live: "On the afternoon of the October 16, I was walking under the railway bridge on Dumbarton Road next to Partick Railway station when I noticed the wing of a dead pigeon sticking out of the wire netting that had been placed underneath the brid
