Travel to the United States has dipped among Canadians. This is well known now and has taken place throughout 2025. However, Canadian snowbirds are still loyal to the United States and, in fact, are still paying a premium for travel to the United States despite others avoiding their neighboring country.

Despite the loyalty, Canadian snowbirds were in for quite the surprise this month. Visiting the U.S., Canadian snowbirds were introduced to new procedures. These new practices resulted in delays of more than an hour for some Canadians. Clearly, it wasn't what they were accustomed to, and the latest practices also came with a charge that is being considered a "money grab" according to Canadian snowbirds.
