Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season is nearly over. And if you play fantasy football, you’re already planning ahead with waivers after a busy slate of games.

That’s what we’re here for, a roundup of some of the players you could be targeting ahead of Week 8 in fantasy football.

Some of the names below might be taken already, but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let’s run through them, in no particular order, and we'll update this after the two games that are ahead on Monday Night Football.

Let's dive in:

WR Xavier Legette, Carolina Panthers

Remember him? Yeah. He exploded for nine catches, 92 yards and a score. That said, he only saw five targets in his past two games before said explosion, but maybe Andy Dalton throws him the rock more if Bryce Young misses time.

RB Kyle Monangai, Chicago Bears

Yes, D'Andre Swift is RB1, but the rookie was very involved in Week 7. Could that mean more of a 50-50 timeshare? Hmmm.

RB Brashard Smith, Kansas City Chiefs

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Chiefs make a move for a running back given how meh Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco have been, but Smith has shown flashes of good stuff here and there. If you have bench depth, he's worth a speculative add.

QB Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals

Yes, I'm serious. In a good matchup, he can just let Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins cook and rack up fantasy stats. And wouldn't you know it? He faces the Jets next week.

TE Oronde Gadsden II, Los Angeles Chargers

We noted his Week 6 -- seven catches for 68 yards -- and were intrigued. Now? He went off for 164 yards on seven catches and a score. The tight end market is pretty bad, so he's worth scooping up.
