LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Public Schools announced that there will be no school for Pyrtle Elementary students on Monday.

The district said there is a water main break in the area, and the school near 84th and A streets does not currently have water service.

LPS’s operations team is working with the City of Lincoln to “address the issue.”

The district also noted that the school will be ready for students to return on Tuesday.
