Small earthquake registers near Risco, Mo.

NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A small earthquake registered in New Madrid County early Monday morning, October 20.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), a magnitude 2.3 earthquake was recorded at 2:58 a.m. about .7 miles west of Risco.

The epicenter measured 3.7 miles deep.

As of 8 a.m. on Monday, no one has reported feeling the quake.
