BOISE, Idaho — The national average price for a gallon of gas dropped below $3 on Monday, Oct. 20, but Idaho's prices remain in the mid-$3 range.
According to a news release from GasBuddy, gas prices in Boise have dropped 2.7 cents in the past week, with an average cost of $3.44 per gallon. Prices in Boise are 7.4 cents lower than a month ago, and 3.7 cents higher than a year ago, reports GasBuddy.
The cheapest station in Boise was priced at $3.25 per gallon on Sunday, Oct. 19, whereas the most expensive station was priced at $3.67 per gallon, a difference of 42 cents.
As for the Gem State, the lowest priced station came in at $2.89 per gallon, whereas the most expensive came in at $4.09 per gallon, a difference of $1.20.
