BART riders faced major disruptions Monday morning after an equipment problem near Embarcadero Station in San Francisco caused significant delays in the Transbay Tube and suspended two train lines.

According to BART, there is a major delay on the San Francisco Line heading toward the East Bay due to the track issue.

The transit agency also said there is currently no Red Line service between Richmond and Millbrae. Passengers traveling to Millbrae are advised to take a shuttle train between

San Francisco International Airport and Millbrae stations and transfer to or from the Yellow Line (Antioch-SFO). Riders from Richmond should take the Orange Line (Berryessa) and transfer at MacArthur Station to continue toward SFO.
