SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs surprised St. Philip’s Episcopal School in Uvalde and the Children’s Bereavement Center with a $100,000 grant from the Sport for Healing Fund during halftime at the team's recent game versus Indiana.
The funding will support the refurbishment and renovation of the school’s gym, which helps grief support programs and community outreach for families affected by the Robb Elementary tragedy.
