A Texas cop heroically sprang into action to save a woman from her burning car last month, resulting in shocking bodycam footage that has now gone viral.

The incident occurred just after midnight on September 30, when Officer Tyler Ingram was driving on Interstate 30.

“We answer a lot of action-packed calls here, but this was more like a movie scene,” Ingram told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth .

The Mesquite officer was policing traffic when he heard a crash and went to investigate.
