One person was killed and two others were injured Monday morning in a vehicle-bicycle collision in Huntington Beach.

The crash was reported about 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard, according to Huntington Beach Public Affairs Manager Corbin Carson, who said dispatch got a report that a vehicle had struck three bicyclists.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and two other people were taken to hospitals for treatment of serious injuries, Carson said.

“There are no outstanding suspects, and investigators are working to determine whether alcohol, drugs, or any other factors played a role in the crash,” he said.

The crash response and investigation closed southbound PCH at Beach Boulevard.
