STARK COUNTY, Ohio — Jackson Township police are investigating after a person was struck by a vehicle during a "No Kings"protest on Fulton Drive NW on Saturday afternoon.
According to a media release from Jackson Township's Chief of Police Mark Brink, officers responded to the incident at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Oct. 18. Officials say the person was participating in the "No Kings" protest when they were hit.
Police say they obtained a description of the vehicle and its license plate. The driver allegedly fled the scene, heading west on Fulton Drive, but was later located at their residence in Jackson Township with help from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
"At this time, the Jackson Township Police Department’s investigation remains ongoing to determine the cause of the incident. The
