Thousands of Arizonans lined Bell Road in the Northwest Valley on Oct. 18 in a series of 10 No Kings protests — among thousands nationwide.
The 10 sites chosen, mostly on Bell, are in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District. Northwest Valley Indivisible estimated 8,061 participants across the 10 sites.
“Donald Trump and other Republican politicians like Rep. Abe Hamadeh want to rule, not serve, but Arizonans are refusing to be silent,” stated Brent Peak, co-chair of Northwest Valley Indivisible, in a press release. “Real power still belongs to the people, and today we proved it.”
