GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - A traffic stop led to an arrest after police allegedly found drug paraphernalia and a large knife.

Grand Junction Police pulled over Luis Aceves-Mancilla around 12:45 a.m., Saturday, near D 1/2 Road and 29 Road. The investigation resulted in officers discovering burglary and multiple check books not belonging to the suspect.

Aceves-Mancilla was arrested and transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility on the following charges: • Criminal possession of an identification document - two or more • Criminal possession of four or more financial devices • Possession of burglary tools • Possession of drug paraphernalia • Possession of schedule I/II controlled substance • Theft $2,000-$5,000 • Theft of license plate • No insurance in possession
