A two-day-old kitten has been rescued from a police car – after being trapped in the engine.
Officers at Crownhill Police Station in Devon noticing a faint ‘meow’ coming from one of the response team’s vehicles on Sunday (Oct. 19).
Despite their best efforts, they were unable to reach the source of the noise, which was coming from deep within the car’s wheel arch.
As the police officers were not equipped to strip the car they had to go down to their local Kwik-Fit on Tavistock Road branch.
There the staff was able to save the day and rescue the two-year-old kitten from deep within the wheel arch.
The rescued animal was taken to the local People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) for a health check and was found to be in good condition.
