MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - Mesa County Animal Services is offering discounted pet adoptions from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 at their Pup-kin Patch event in Whitewater.

During this special event, dog adoptions are reduced by $60, and cat adoptions are $35 off, providing a great opportunity for families to adopt a new pet.

The Pup-kin Patch event kicks off on Halloween at Mesa County Animal Services, 971A Coffman Road in Whitewater, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adopters will receive a Halloween-themed toy for their new pet and a Polaroid family photo, complete with a paw-print autograph from their pet.

Officials said this event not only offers the chance to adopt a pet at a reduced cost but also provides a fun, festive atmosphere for families to enjoy.
