SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- A milk truck and a bus got into a crash in Bruce, South Dakota, leading to minor injuries.

According to a post on the Brookings County Facebook page, on October 17 at approximately 10:56 a.m., a bus was traveling north on 464th Avenue and stopped at the stop sign. After the stop, the bus continued into the intersection to make a left turn.

A 2025 Kenworth Semi was headed west on 204th Street. The driver of the Semi saw the bus driver stop and then continue into the intersection to make a left turn. The semi was hauling a tanker containing approximately 7,500 gallons of milk and was unable to avoid the bus. The semi swerved, hit the bus on the passenger side, and entered the northbound ditch where it rolled over.
