WEST VIRGINIA (WOWK) - A man has been arrested in connection to a deadly hit-and-run on the West Virginia Turnpike earlier this month.
According to West Virginia State Police, Anthony Hay, 60, of Huntington, was arrested and arraigned in Wayne County. He faces one count of hit-and-run causing death.
The charges stem from a fatal hit-and-run in Fayette County where a pedestrian was struck on the West Virginia Turnpike on Friday, Oct. 3. The 63-year-old man from North Carolina died at the scene.
The WVSP says a lengthy investigation led to Hay's arrest.
