FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WBOY) — Two people have been charged after task force members located drug materials in a child's medicine at a Fairmont home.
On Oct. 17, members of the Three Rivers Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Gaston Avenue in connection to an "ongoing narcotics investigation," according to a criminal complaint.
When task force members entered the home, they made contact with Michael Estep, 29, and Miranda Seargeant, 38, both of Fairmont.
In their search, task force members found "numerous strips of aluminum foil containing burnt fentanyl" throughout the residence, as well as "items commonly associated with the sale and distribution of narcotics" and bags containing a substance which field-tested positive for fentanyl, task force members said.
