FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 17-year-old Fort Wayne boy is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly shooting someone early Saturday.

Maung Soe Noe is charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery, criminal recklessness, and misdemeanor dangerous possession of a firearm by a child.

Witnesses, who helped identify Noe with photos, told police they were drinking and smoking in a basement with Noe before the shooting, according to court records obtained by 21Investigates. They said Noe wanted to take someone else’s gun and was met with opposition from the group but was able to grab it.
