TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Indiana-Illinois Boundary Adjustment Commission is set to meet at Indiana State University on Wednesday.

The group consists of six members appointed by Indiana Governor Mike Braun, and allows for the appointment of five individuals from Illinois under Illinois law.

Their role is to evaluate redrawing the boundaries between Indiana and Illinois. In the last five years, 33 Illinois counties have explored the possibility of seceding from the state.

On the agenda for their meeting at Tirey Hall, scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. ET, is member introductions, electing officers and public comment.
