An Oxford Police Department officer responded to a local hospital on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, for a report of a person suffering from stab wounds, according to OPD.

Witnesses at the hospital told officers the incident happened at an apartment complex on Private Road 3151. After investigating, police arrested 26-year-old Keundria Shegog, of Oxford.

Shegog is charged with Domestic Violence – Aggravated Assault.

She was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial appearance.

The condition of the victim has not been released.
