The City of Cocoa is optimistic that a long-awaited Brightline station in Brevard County may soon become a reality, thanks to anticipated support from the Trump administration in the form of federal funding.
City officials say a federal grant application is nearly ready, and early signals from Washington suggest the project is likely to receive the estimated $47 million in funding.
“This is transformational for our community — not just the City of Cocoa, but for our region,” said Samantha Senger, spokesperson for the City of Cocoa.
