AUBURN, Maine (WMTW) - The Auburn Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting in the Maine city that left a home damaged.
Police said the shooting happened at about 7:45 p.m. Saturday on Pownal Road. The homeowner told police they heard what sounded like gunshots and found bullet holes in a living room window and a living room wall.
Responding officers secured the scene, ensured no one was injured and confirmed there was property damage consistent with gunfire.
The homeowner, Heidi Allred, shared details about what happened on a community Facebook page. Allred said she and her husband were watching television in their living room when they heard two loud pops.
