SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The Notre Dame football team is on a roll right now.

After starting the season 0-2, the Irish haven’t lost again, including this past Saturday where they picked up their fifth consecutive win by taking down rival USC at home in one of their biggest games of the season.

It was a back-and-forth game as it was raining in the second half. On the ground, Jeremiyah Love had over 200 yards rushing while fellow running back Jadarian Price returned a kick for a touchdown.

It was reminiscent of two years ago when Price had a 99-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter that all but clinched Notre Dame’s 48-20 win over USC. The significance of that wasn’t lost on head coach Marcus Freeman.
