SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Landowner rights groups in South Dakota say their pushback against CO2 pipelines is sparking real change.

Some new lawmakers even came from their movement.

Now, a federal bill is raising concerns about whether peaceful protests could be considered a felony.

“The biggest demonstration of fascism I’ve ever seen in my life,” said Landowner Rights Advocate Ed Fischbach.

“And they’re trying to trample on people’s rights and backdoor an anti fresepeech bill,” said Landowner Rights Attorney Brian Jorde.

These men are talking about the Safe and secure Transportation of American Energy Act.
