HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Aloun Farms in Kapolei kicked off its 23rd Pumpkin Fall Festival over the weekend.
This year, the festival runs during the last two weekends of October, and the first weekend of November, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The farm offers a variety of family-friendly autumn activities, such as local entertainment, food vendors, keiki rides, a petting zoo, and tractor hayrides.
In addition to picking their own pumpkins off the vine, attendees can also pick their own signature ‘Ewa Sweet Corn and string beans, or stop by the farmers market for other fresh farm produce.
Proceeds benefit local community nonprofit organizations and schools, including Kapolei High School’s JROTC and Polynesian Club, and Waipahu High School’s Teacher Cadets and Boys Basketball this year.
