OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. —
Oldham County is considering buying more than 200 acres off Stewart Lane near Buckner to preserve open space and create the county’s first public access point to Harrods Creek.
Oldham County Judge Executive David Voegele calls it a “legacy purchase” that would protect habitat while opening trails for walking and areas for camping and fishing.
The scenic 225-acre property features trees, established trails, and nearly 1.5 miles of creek frontage.
