CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A development featuring a potential racquet sports facility was approved Monday after changes were made to appease the city’s planning staff.
The mixed-use development at the intersection of Plaza Road Extension and Hood Road was met with questions in August – from both neighbors and the planning staff. Developer Queen City Land proposed a rezoning on 15.8 acres that would build 94 townhomes, 4,500 square feet of retail and a 20,000-square-foot health and fitness facility.
