COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is searching for a suspect accused of robbery near downtown Colorado Springs.

CSPD said officers responded to the 400 block of South Cascade Avenue at the intersection of Costilla Street on Monday around 10:43 a.m. for a report of a bank robbery.

Officers and detectives responded to the scene, where police said they were told that a male had entered the bank and demanded money from employees before running away.

It is unknown how much money the suspect left with.

The Colorado Springs Police Department is continuing to investigate this incident.
