DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport man is facing felony sexual abuse charges after police said he abused a juvenile.

Teral Burge, 48, is charged with three counts of felony second-degree sexual abuse, according to court documents.

The investigation began in 2018, when Davenport police said they got a report of sexual assault.

The victim, police said, hadn’t made any statements until now because of threats from Burge.

Burge is in the Scott County Jail on a $200,000 cash-only bond, according to the jail’s website .

He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Oct. 28.
